Reopening of the school ICT lab of Seethadevi Girls' College Kandy took place on the 9th February 2021 by the chief guest Mr. P.P.C.S.J. Pathirage the chief accountant of the Provincial
Education Department and Mrs. W.M.C.C. Kasthuriarachchi the Deputy Zonal Director the Kandy zone along with the presence of madam principal Mrs. Chandrakanthi Karunanayake, the deputy principals, assistant principals, the teacher incharge of ICT Mrs. Vishaka Ihalagedara and the rest of the staff members.
The new ICT lab consists of many devices with improved facilities. The Pirith chanting ceremony which was scheduled to be held parallel to this occasion, was took place on the 5 th February 2021 with the blessings of the Maha Sangharathna. The advanced ICT lab is located in the new school building. It provides facilities for all the students of the school to improve their knowledge in information and communication technology.
