This society organizes several activities throughout the year. Of these, the main event is the annual Pirith ceremony. This is conducted with the help of the staff and students and mostly the parents of grade 6 students. The main purpose of this is to bless the grade 6 new batch and all other students. This program conducted blessing poojas, the pre-poya day programs,  dansal programs for vesak and poson poya days, righteous skills competitions. Mostly Bodhi poojas are conducted as a blessing to the students who are facing O/l and A/l examinations. Pre-poya day programs provide the opportunity for dharma discussion to all the staff members and students. The society consists of 120 students representing all the classes by 2 students.

 The objectives of the Buddhist society is,

         To develop harmony among teachers and students.

         To make an attempt to build future generation as learned and good qualities.

         To attempt to solve the problems by giving priority to discipline as stated by the Lord Buddha.

         Not only that but also provides instruction in Buddhist meditation and daily life practice.
