- Gamini Ekanayaka was the first coach in charge of the volleyball team which was started in 1990. The inter house volleyball matches were held for the first time in 1991.
- Mrs.Punchi Banda and Mrs.Susantha Premachandra were the next coaches of the Volleyball team in Seethadevi Girls College.

• 2017 DSI Zonal sportsmeet at Peradeniya College ground
• 2018 DSI Zonal sportsmeet at Peradeniya College ground
• Volleyball competition conducted by the Department of education in Central province at a zonal level in 2019
• Volleyball competition conducted by the Department of education in Central province at a zonal level in 2020
